Swasika Vijay is an Indian actress, who predominantly works in Malayalam films and serials. She made her debut in the 2009 Tamil film Vaigai which is a love story and her character was based on a real-life individual. She is well known among the television audience for her work in the Dhatuputhri serial. Swasika also hosted a show on Jeevan TV in 2014. She won several awards for her works in Vasanthi and Seetha. Her role as Selena in the Chathuram movie was critically acclaimed.

• She was a student when she acted in the film. Her third film Maithanam got positive reviews from both the critics and the audience.
• She made her Malayalam debut with the Cinema Company and was the lead actress in Sajeevan Anthikkad’s Prabhuvinte Makkal. In the 2014 Tamil thriller Panduvam, she played the Psychiatrist, a modern character as opposed to her earlier roles in Tamil films.
