RBVS Maniyan is a motivational public speaker and an author. He became famous for his book Bharatanadu Parukkellam Tilakam. He wrote more than eight other books. He grabbed the public’s attention with his spiritual speech video titled The Role of God in Our Life . His recent controversial speech is becoming viral on social media.

On September 14, 2023, (Thursday) Manian was arrested by T-Nagar police after a video of him making degrading remarks against Dr BR Ambedkar and Thiruvalluvar went viral. Chennai Court remanded Maniyan to a 14-day judicial custody.
