Mastaney is an upcoming Punjabi movie that is based on a historical story. The film was written and directed by Sharan Art. The film stars Tarsem Jassar, Simi Chahal, Gurpreet Guggi, and Karamjit Anmol in prominent roles. It is based on historical characters, and it seems like this is a season of historical drama. Recently another Punjabi historical movie trailer got released, which is titled Maurh.

Plot and Genre
The plot is inspired by true events from the Legends of History, an epic tale from the history of Punjab during the 18th century. The story revolves around the time when Nader Shah invaded Delhi, and his undefeated army was confronted by fearless Sikh warriors.
