Lesia Vasylenko is a lawyer and a politician in 9th Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada. She is a member of the Ukrainian permanent delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. She also serves as the president of the inter-parliamentary Union’s Bureau of Women Parliamentarians. Vasylenko is also part of Delegation to PACE. Lesia was born in Kyiv to Volodymyr Vasylenko. She graduated in International law at the Institute of International Relations, Kyiv, and completed her L.L.M. at University College London. She got the world’s attention for providing war updates on Ukraine vs Russia.
