AB de Villiers Thanks Fans and Teammates: Two days after announcing his retirement from all forms of International Cricket, AB de Villiers took to the twitter to thank his fans and cricketers for their love and support. Ever since the announcement of his retirement, tributes poured from all quarters of the world for the South African legend who was often called as “360-degree batsman” for his ability to hit shots all around the ground. Many, including cricket legend Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, highlighted AB De Villiers 360 degree capability in their tributes.

AB De Villiers had played 114 Tests, 228 ODIs and 78 T20Is for South Africa. In his 14-year career, he holds the record for the fastest 50, 100 and 150 in International ODI’s. He had scored 22 centuries in the longest format and 25 tons in ODI’s.
