Watch: New Zealand Duo Belts 43 Runs Off Single Over to Create New World Record
Two New Zealand batsmen, Joe Carter and Brett Hampton have combined to create a new world record by hitting 43 runs from a single over. The duo was helped by two no-balls while batting for Northern Districts against Central Districts in a Ford Trophy match on Wednesday. The duo has hit 4, 6+nb, 6+nb, 6, 1, 6, 6 and 6 from the bowling of Central’s South Africa-born medium fast bowler Willem Ludick. The bowling figures of Willem Ludick nosedived from 9-0-42-1 to 10-0-85-1.
