She made her debut as a playback singer in the Kaadhal movie. Ramani Ammal also worked in movies like Kathavarayan, Thenavattu, and Haridas. She did her acting debut with the Bommai Nayagi movie. She passed away on April 4, 2023, due to age-related issues.
