Gautham Krishna Ghattamaneni was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu to actor Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar. Gautam pursuing his schooling at CHIREC International School, Hyderabad. He made his acting debut at the age of 8 as Gautham in Nenokkadine (2014). He is a professional swimmer and achieved the top 8 positions in the Telangana State Swimming competition in his age category. He can perform all four strokes Breaststroke, Butterfly, and Freestyle, Backstroke.
