At the age of 14, she started her career in the entertainment industry with the Tamil movie Palli Paruvathile. Yuvan Shankar Raja got impressed by her performance in Palli Paruvathile and offered a chance to sing in his composition for the movie Pyaar Prema Kadhaal and she made her Telugu debut Naa Nuvve. In 2023, Priya sang Hayyoda song from Jawan movie with Anirudh.
