Kruthika Jayakumar is an Indian actress as well as she is a Classical dancer, who appears in South Indian film industry. She predominantly appears in Telugu films, with that, she also works for other languages like Tamil and Kannada. Her debut movie was Drushyam (2014). She is also a part of Santhana Devan (Tamil) and Kavacha (Kannada).

Kruthika was born on 30 April 1997 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Kruthika Jayakumar is now residing in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Her father’s name is Jayakumar B. R and her mother’s name is Padmini Jayakumar. She did her schooling in Clarence High School, Bangalore and she did her graduation in Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. At the age of seven she started practicing Bharatanatyam, she was trained by guru Sri Mithun Shyam in Bangalore. At the time when she went for a performance to Thiruvananthapuram a Malayalam film director, Balu Kiriyath spotted her and asked her for acting in a movie and he convinced her. Once after her audition was done she was selected and appeared for the role of Venkatesh Daggubati’s daughter in Drushyam, which is a Telugu remake movie and she received a great recognition from the film.
