Kedarnath Helicopter Crash: Two Pilots And Four Civilians Killed
A helicopter carrying Kedarnath pilgrims from Guptkashi crashed today. Seven people, including the pilot, were killed in the chopper which belonged to the Aryan aviation company. The incident occurred at Garudchatti near Kedarnath after the chopper took off from Kedarnath for Phata. According to reports from NK Rajwar (Rudraprayag District Disaster Management Official), all the seven onboard were dead, and bodies have been retrieved.
SDRF rushed to the spot and started rescue operations amid snow and overcast conditions. The pilgrims in the chopper have been identified as Purva Ramanuj, Kriti, Urvi, Sujatha, Prem Kumar, and Pilot Anil Singh.
