Thuli Shopping Mall in Adyar Chennai Where Everything is Free

Thuli, a non-profit organisation started to empower poor and boost their confidence to strive among people along with cool shopping experience. Three entrepreneurs Shivaji Prabhakar, Ajith Kumar, and Jeybala started a shopping store in Adyar, Chennai on February 18 to help the underprivileged families. It is an initiative which offers a unique shopping experience to the underprivileged people of our society who couldn’t afford such experiences in a real shopping mall. The motto of Thuli initiative is “Charity with Dignity.” The shop will have all the clothes and accessories from the charity sorted them according to their usability. The clothes will be dry-cleaned and arranged according to the size, age, gender and finally, they will be displayed for sale. People who visit the shop will be provided with the vouchers worth Rs 1500, which they can then redeem at the shop if needed. Thuli Shopping Mall has partnered with Aloft Hotel, who provides free laundry services and Parveen Travels, who provides transport services for collecting and delivering the items. Beyontec Solutions and Omega Healthcare have agreed to send volunteers from their organisations to help them during weekends.
