Dharavathi Preethi is a post-graduate medical student in the department of Anaesthesia from Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal. Based on the reports, she attempted suicide on February 22 after repeated harassment by her senior, Saif. The doctors at NIMS made several treatments for the girl, but she could not be saved and was declared dead on February 26, 2023. Student associations are expressing concern over the death of Preethi. #JusticeForPreethi is trending on social media pages.
