Global Media Box and Tamil Nadu Tourism organizes the 8th edition of the Balloon festival for three days at Pollachi, Coimbatore. On the occasion of Pongal festive, every year the Tamil Nadu Tourism department conducts the International Balloon Festival. This event involves 10+ countries that launch hot air balloons from January 13- 15, 2023 for this year. Apart from the Pollachi Balloon festival, the event has other activities such as live music shows, food festivals, helicopter rides, shopping, games, and kids carnival rides. Some pilots offer balloon rides for attendees, giving them the opportunity to take to the skies and experience the beauty of the surrounding area from a unique perspective. The cost price of Balloon ride is Rs. 25,000.

Day 1 – 13th January 2023, Friday (12 pm – 10 pm)
