Rajeswari is a Police Inspector who serves in Chennai. She became viral after rescuing a man lying unconscious in a cemetery in TP Chatram in Chennai. Visuals of Police Inspector Rajeswari carrying the young man over her shoulders and walking to the auto to get him to a hospital have gone viral on social media.
On 11 November 2021, the Chennai Police team went to Kilpauk Cemetry to retrieve the ‘body’ under the fallen tree but E Rajeswari noticed a man still alive with faint breath and pulse. Suddenly, she lifted him on her shoulders, rushed him to the vehicle, shouting instructions to save the man’s life.
