Muthiah Muralidaran Movie (Biopic) “800”: Actor Vijay Sethupathi Plays the Role

Versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi portrays the role of Sri Lankan spin legend Muthiah Muralidaran which is written and directed by MS Sripathy. Tentatively titled as “800”, the film will be made in Tamil and released in several languages including Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada.

Muttiah Muralidaran is one of the most wicket-takers who has record with 1347 in international cricket, 800 wickets in Tests, and 534 in ODIs. He is part of the Sri Lankan World Cup-winning team in 1996. Muttiah Muralidaran married a Chennai girl Madhimalar Ramamurthy and the couple blessed with a boy baby named Naren.
