She has featured in several movies like Kondaveeti Donga, Pelli Pustakam, Yesteryear, etc., Her first featured film is Krishnama Rayudu. She made a supporting role through the film Muthyamantha Muddu which was released in 1989. Now she is out of the acting field and concentrates on her political career. She is a leader of the Telugu Desam Party. Divyavani is also a pastor.
