She made her acting debut with a cameo role in the Tamil movie Rhythm in the year 2000. In the same year she took a lead role in the movie Mutham directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar. In the year 2019, she acted in the movie Kudimagan along with Jaikumar in the lead role.
