GV Prakash Kumar’s Watchman has finally hit the screens today. The film was helmed by AL Vijay and produced by Arun Mozhi Manickam. Along with GV Prakash, the film also stars Yogi Babu, Samyuktha Hegde, Raj Arun in the prominent roles. Watchman also features a dog (golden retriever) called Bruno where it played a crucial role in the film. This film cannot be ignored or avoided. Even cat-lovers might find the righteous hero of the film, Bruno, which is really cute. If there is a special category for animals in the award functions, Bruno (the dog) from Watchman will win them all.

Giving so much importance to a dog over the hero, duration of the film and a interesting climax are the positives of Watchman. This is the next authentic dog based film after Sakthi Sowndarajan’s Naaigal Jaakirathai.
