Lockdown is an upcoming short film starring Andrea Jeremiah in the lead role. Directed by Aadhav Kannadhasan, the makers of the team have released the first look poster on 27 April 2020. The poster has a collage of newspaper clippings regarding the coronavirus lockdown.

The short film has only one character, performed by versatile actress Andrea. It is Andrea’s first short film in her career. She was last seen in Vetri Maaran’s ‘Vada Chennai’. Andrea is also a part of Vijay’s ‘Master‘, helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. She was also a part of Kamal Haasan’s Coronavirus song “Arivum Anbum“.

Lockdown short film is scheduled to release on 29 April 2020 (Wednesday). The film was shot in iPhone by Nithin Ram and it has been edited by Karthik. Actor and director Aadhav said that the film is about a person and her mindset during the lockdown. He also added that the film was started a week ago and wrapped up the shoot in half a day. Talking about the making, he said “We were all home but coordinating through video calls, which made the process easy.”

Earlier the actress was posted a small video clip captioning “Coming soon 🙂 #thebalconyseries #lockdown #create 🌸”
