Oscar-Winning AR Rahman surprised fans with an Instagram Live today. This is the first time that the music director going live on Instagram. Due to coronavirus pandemic, all the films, concerts, festivals, and TV shoots, and other events have been cancelled, rescheduled, or modified.

Many actors, musicians and singers like Jacqueline Fernandez, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, rapper Cardi B, actor Hilary Duff and others have flocked to Instagram Live to entertain fans while they isolate themselves inside the home.

Now, the famous music composer AR Rahman joins the list and went live on Instagram on 22 April 2020 at 7:00 PM (Thursday). He has been regularly posting his concert images and travelling pics on his Instagram account. He speaks about the novel coronavirus that shooks the world. He appreciated the doctors, police officers and government officials who work tirelessly to combat coronavirus. Rahman also wishes fans Happy Earth Day.

This is the first time, the music director has come in front of his fans through Instagram. All his fans are gone craze and preparing themselves to join the live video. It may be a music concert or he will answer the fans questions.

Recently, Rahman’s Instagram post on Masakali song creates a buzz among netizens when the remake version was released. He captioned “No short cuts, properly commissioned, sleepless nights, writes and re-writes. Over 200 musicians, 365 days of creative brainstorming and with the aim to produce music that can last generations.”

Many of them supported him that the original song is way better than the remake. Several memes also flooded on social media platforms with people bashing Masakali 2.0.
