Wakil Kumar Yadav was born on 5 January 1994 in Siwan, Bihar. He completed his primary schooling at Adarsh public school Lohaganjar in Siwan. His middle schooling was done in Rajkiya Madhya Vidyalaya Lohaganjar; a government school. He did his matriculation from Rajendra Singh high school Lohaganjar. In matriculation, he stood topper in his high school and got name and fame in his Majhwaliya panchayats. He did his intermediate from D.A.V PG College Siwan in Science. He graduated and post graduated in English literature from A.N College Patna. His father Sri Chandrama Yadav is a well-known farmer and his mother Smt Suratiya Devi is a housewife. He has three brothers Mr. Parmanand Yadav, Mr. Ambika Yadav and Mr. Santosh Yadav. All brothers are educated and working in private sectors. His entire family lives together.

Wakil Kumar Yadav has secured many awards and cash prizes on different occasions. He got first prize in an open competition held in Bardaha, Siwan. He secured two first prize awards for participation in mathematics run and speech contest in the year 2008. He got prize again in another competition held by Bihar government at the district level where 270 students were participating from different middle schools. At this cut-throat open competition, he again secured first prize with his name. This gave immense pleasure to his school teacher’s relatives and whole panchayats. He became a matter of talk among citizens of his panchayats. In tenth class, he stood topper and got 5000 rupees of a cheque in 2010 by science and technology departments at New Delhi for innovative ideas in math and science subjects. This was the second time when he was covered and interviewed by local Hindi media Dainik Jagran.

During graduation and post graduation, Wakil Kumar Yadav has served in student’s politics. He contested election in February 2013. After then he has been chosen as college pramukh in student’s wing. He has done many works in the favors of students. He has also protested against irregularities in universities. He is a person who helps the needy, care poorer section of society and work beyond caste, creed, and religion.
