VJ Monica was born on 27 May in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She made her acting debut in the film Thiruvilaiyaadal Aarambam alongside Dhanush. She also acted with well-known actors like Sravan Rajesh, Venkat Ranganathan, Mithun, Vijay Anand and Raj Kumar Manoharan. She has also appeared in serials like Apoorva Raagangal, Deivam Thandha Veedu and Valli. She became familiar with Tamil people after she works as a news anchor on Sun TV. She hosted the weather report news in the channel. She then appeared in many TV reality shows. Recently, she started a youtube channel named Eluchi Monica.
