Vijay Krishna Acharya popularly known as Viktor Acharya, is an Indian film director, screenwriter, dialogue writer, and lyricist who predominantly works in Hindi film and television industry. He is known as the writer for film Dhoom. He is one of India’s Best Cinestar Ki Khoj judges, who are judging this competition in the year 2014. Vijay Krishna Acharya Details

Vijay Krishna Acharya was born in 1968 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He had completed his schooling in ‘Seth Anandram Jaipuria School’ Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He had been graduated in English Literature from Kirori Mal College affiliated to Delhi University. In 1992, he shifted to Mumbai city. He got his Bollywood assignment to assist Kundan Shah’s ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’. He loves the works of Woody Allen, Quentin Tarantino, and Patrice Leconte. He wrote a story, dialogue, and screenplay for the blockbuster film Dhoom which was released in the year 2004. He was the lyricist of song “Daard” from “Bluffmaster”(2005). In 2006, he wrote screenplay and dialogue of movie Dhoom 2. He was also the dialogue writer of the movie “Pyaar Ke Side Effects”.

 

He was the dialogue writer of Mani Ratnam’s Guru. He was the lyricist for songs like “Bhaiyvaji Ka Tashan”, “Jimmy Ka Tashan”, “Pooja Ka Tashan”, and “Bachchan Pande Ka Tashan” for movie Tashan (2008). He also wrote dialogues, story, and screenplay for this movie. He was the dialogue writer of movie ‘Raavan’ released in the year 2010. His first Television show was on VU TV and was named as ‘Channel Mast’. Some of his other notable shows on TV includes ‘RamKhilavan CM and Family’, ‘Krishna Sharma CA’, and ‘Public Hai Sab Jaanti Hai’. He had directed and written several TV shows in Hindi like ‘Son Pari’, ‘Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi’, ‘Life Nahi Hain Ladoo’, and ’Shaka Laka Boom Boom’. Vijay Krishna Acharya is married to Anusheh Khan, who is the sister of filmmaker Kabir Khan.
