Vidya Pradeep is an Indian model, actress and research scientist. She was well knwon for her films like Thadam (2019), Iravukku Aayiram Kangal (2018), Saivam (2014), and Pasanga 2 (2015).

Early Life and Career

Vidya Pradeep was born and brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She completed her Master’s Degree in the field of Biotechnology and completed PhD in Stem Cell Biology. She worked as a model and have appeared in few television advertisements. She had also appeared in a music video for AR Rahman. She was identified by Tamil Director A.L.Vijay and gave her an opportunity in his movie Saivam.

Thus, Vidya Pradeep made her debut in Tamil film Industry through the movie “Saivam” in which she played the role of Sara Arjun’s Mother. She then got another opportunity to act in a lead role opposite to Jeevan in the movie called “Adhibar” which was released in the year 2015. Vidya then worked in Pandiraj’s movie “Pasanga 2” which was under the banner 2D Entertainments. She was portrayed as a mother of the boy in the movie. She received positive reviews for her role in the movie.

Vidya then acted in two movies in Tamil in the year 2016. She acted in “Onnum Puriyale” which is a Psychological Thriller and “Achamindri” another Tamil movie. She made her debut in Kannada movie in the year 2017. Vidya made her debut in Kannada through the movie “Bangara s/o Bangarada Manushya” playing a role opposite to Shivarajkumar. The film received positive reviews and Vidya was appreciated for her screen presence.
