Video of Railway Vendor Mixing Water for Tea from Train Toilet

A video of a railway vendor, coming out of a train toilet with tea and coffee cans went viral on social media. The video suggested that the water was ‘mixed’ with the coffee and tea inside the train toilet. This shocking incident took place in December last year on a Chennai Central-Hyderabad Charminar Express at Secunderabad railway station.

According to reports, a vending contractor has been slapped with a fine of Rs 1 lakh by the Railway Officials. M Umashankar Kumar, a senior official said,

“A strict vigil was continuously being kept at various levels to ensure that no such incidents are repeated in the South Central Railway (SCR) Zone.”
