Vimal is an Indian Film Actor, who predominantly appears in Tamil films. He entered with the uncredited appearances in the Ghilli, Kuruvi and Kireedam and a cameo role in the critically acclaimed movie Kanchivaram, and he played the lead role in Pandiraj’s critically acclaimed Pasanga (209). He also played some leading roles in several low-budget films. He established himself as a thriving upcoming actor with kalavani (2010), Vaagai Sooda Vaza (2011), Kalakalappu (2012), and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga (2013). Vimal was born on April 25, 1979, in Pannankombu, a village near Manapparai and later moved to Chennai. Vimal discontinued his studies, and began learning dancing and then joined the Koothu-P-Pattarai, a theatre group in Chennai. As being a part of Koothu-P-Pattarai, Vimal appeared in uncredited roles in several high-profile Tamil films. He also appeared in the Indian cricket league advertisement for Chennai Superstars as a stylish batsman. Vimal married his girlfriend Akshaya on 12 December 2010.
