Umapathy Ramaiah is a South Indian actor who mostly works in the Tamil film industry. He is also the son of notable comedian actor Thambi Ramaiah. Umapathy made his acting debut through Adhagappattathu Magajanangalay (2017). Followed by Maniyaar Kudumbam and Director Cheran’s Thriumanam movie. He was a participant in the adventure reality show Survivor with Action King Arjun as a mentor. He made his directional debut through the Rajakili movie starring Samuthirakani and Thambi Ramaiah in prominent roles.

On June 26, 2023, the news was released that Umapathy and Action King Arjun’s daughter Aishwarya Arjun is to tie the knot in February 2024. Their wedding engagement was held on (27 October 2023) with their close friends and family. The video of the intimate ceremony went viral on social media.
