TN HSC Result 2018: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) has given an exact date for TN HSC 12 Results. The Class 12 result in the State will be announced on May 16, 2018 (tomorrow) at 9:30 am. The Directorate of Government Examinations DGE will put out the TN 12th Result 2018 on its official website tnresults.nic.in.

Tamil Nadu school education minister KA Sengottaiyan announced that the overall pass percentage this year is 91.1 %

The Tamil Nadu HSC +2 examination for the academic year 2017-18 was successfully conducted by the DGE Directorate of Government Examinations from March 1 to April 6. The evaluation process for class 10 and 12 board exams had begun on April 12, 2018. Tamil Nadu students can check their higher secondary exam scores on these websites examresults.net, tamil-nadu.indiaresults.com. The score is a gateway to higher education courses like BSc, BCom, BA and engineering degrees.

Tamil Nadu HSC Results Live Updates

A total of 9,07,620 candidates had appeared for the Class 12 state board exams. In that, 231 students have scored above 1180, out of which 50 are boys and remaining 181 are girls. The overall pass percentage has decreased from 92.1% to 91.1% this year

  • Virudhunagar district recorded highest pass percentage – 97%
  • Erode secured second position at 96.3% pass percentage
  • Tiruppur district secured third rank with a pass percentage of 96.1%
  • Around 6,754 schools reported 100% result
  • Girls secured a pass percentage of 94.1% while the pass percentage of boys is 87.7%.

Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2018 Announced: The Directorate of Government Examinations and Government of Tamil Nadu has declared the TN 10th Result on the official website tnresults.nic.in. Education Minister K.A. Sengottaiyan has declared the results, and the result analysis is also available at the website of DGE Tamil Nadu.

Key Highlights in Tamil Nadu SSLC Result 2018:

  • Out of 9,50,397 students who appeared for the SSLC exam, 8,97,945 students have cleared the exam.
  • The overall pass percentage is 94.5% which 0.1% higher than last year.
  • 38.52% of students have secured marks in the range of 301-400.
  • 9402 students or 0.99% students have scored about 481 marks.
  • Girls have outshined boys by securing a pass percentage of 96.4% while boys have achieved a pass percentage of 92.5%.
  • When comes to subject wise, highest pass percentage is recorded in science subject with 98.47%.
  • The pass percentage in Government schools is 91.36%.
  • Sivagangai district has recorded the highest pass percentage of 98.5%.

Ajith Kumar, popularly known as ‘Thala,’ is a multi-talented personality and many know that he was a biker before becoming an actor. Now, the star actor is a trained pilot and is capable of flying a fighter jet. The latest report is that the actor Ajith has attached himself with a project by the Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) and volunteered to be a part of MIT’S team Dhaksha, which is participating in an Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) challenge. Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) has appointed him as its ‘Helicopter Test Pilot and UAV System Adviser.’ UAV Challenge is a prestigious competition whose final round is scheduled to be held in Queensland, Australia, in September this year.

Anna University cleared his appointment on Thursday. The actor will receive a salary of ₹1,000 per visit. He has offered to donate it for the education of MIT’s poorer students.
