TJ Gnanavel is an Indian director and writer, who predominantly works in Tamil films. He started his career as a story writer and made his debut film Payanam (2011). Then, he associates with many films and writes a story, screenplay, and dialogue. Gnanavel made his directional debut for Kootathil Oruthan, starring Ashok Selvan and Priya Anand. He got major recognition for directing Suriya’s Jai Bhim which acclaimed critic response and bagged several accolades. It is officially announced that Gnanavel will direct the Superstar Rajinikanth’s movie tentatively titled Thalaivar 170.
