Thalapathy Vijay joins the list of South Indian celebrities by donating a huge amount towards coronavirus relief efforts. He has donated 1.30 Crores to all 6 states including TN Chief Minister fund, PM Fund, FEFSI, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka, Puducherry.

Many celebs like Raghava Lawrence, Rajinikanth, Ajith Kumar, Kamal Haasan, Karthi, Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan, Vijay Sethupathji, Kangana Ranaut, and many others have come forward in this time of need. Raghava Lawrence has contributed over 3 crores and more, Ajith Kumar 1.25 Crores, Superstar Rajinikanth 50 lakhs, Nayanathara 20 lakhs, followed by many other celebrities.

According to close sources, Kollywood actor Vijay has announced that he will be donating Rs 1.30 crore towards the coronavirus relief fund.

TN Chief Ministers Fund – Rs 50 Lakhs

PM Relief Fund – Rs 25 Lakhs

FEFSI – Rs 25 Lakhs

Kerala CM Fund – Rs 10 Lakhs

Karnataka – Rs 5 Lakhs

Telangana – Rs 5 Lakhs

Puducherry – Rs 5 Lakhs

Above this 50 lakhs approx to his fans club

The total contributions by Vijay is rupees 1.8 Crores.
