Tanya Ravichandran is an Indian Actress who works in Tamil Film Industry. Her real name is Abbhirami Sriram and she had changed to Tanya Ravichandran. She made her debut in the Tamil film industry through the movie “Balle Vellaiyadeva” starring in the lead role opposite Sasikumar. Tanya is the granddaughter of veteran Tamil actor Ravichandran. Tanya worked on the latest Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi’s Paper Rocket Web Series where she shares screen space with Kalidas Jayaram, Renuka, Gauri G. She also featured in a music video for Criminal Crush with Ashwin Kumar.
Her mother Lavanya Sriram is a classical dancer and she was the one who taught Tanya and her sister Aparajitha Bharathanatiyam. Tanya was first auditioned by Director Mysskin for his movie but the movie was kept on hold as he was busy directing Thupparivalan.
After knowing about Mysskin’s audition, Radha Mohan (Directed of Bridhavanam Movie) screened and selected her as a lead role in this movie. Simultaneously, She signed a project as a lead role in the movie “Balle Vellaiyadeva” which was released in the year 2016 and this movie was named as her debut as it was released earlier. Her second movie “Brindhavanam” was released in May 2017. The movie gained positive reviews and her acting skills were highly appreciated. She acted as a rural girl in Karuppan movie along with Vijay Sethupathi.
