Complete Lockdown in Tamil Nadu (TN) for 14 days (May 10 -24)

The government of Tamil Nadu declares a full lockdown in the state. The fresh cases are being increased alarmingly, on friday it’s reported that more than 26000 new cases were marked. The new government was formed on May 07 and CM M.K. Stalin took the major decision by announcing a complete lockdown. According to Chief Minister’s office, the lockdown effect from 04:00 AM on May 10 to May 24. This decision is made after consulting with various ministries and medical experts. Tamil Nadu is one of the top five states that have been contributing the most to the daily Covid-19 cases in India.

Lockdown operation and activities

• In view of TN Full Lockdown tomorrow Sunday’s Janata curfew is lifted. Shops can be open today and tomorrow.
• All shops selling grocery, vegetables, non-vegetarian items allowed to function from 6 AM -12 Noon all days.
• Only parcels & takeaways allowed in restaurants.
• Delivery e-commerce sites Swiggy, Zomato, Dunzo are allowed to function.
• Tasmac are completely shut down during the period
• All Public and Private Transport shutdown
• Amma Eateries will function
• All Private companies and IT companies are closed,Work From Home is allowed.
• Air Travel and Trains will operate, People can show their tickets and commute to Airports and Train Stations.
• Autos, taxi cabs will be allowed only for medical emergencies.
