Swasika Vijay is an Indian actress, who predominantly works in Malayalam Television soap opera’s and Films along with few Tamil projects. She has made her debut in 2009 Tamil film ‘Vaigai’, which is a love story and her character is based on the real-life individual. She is also well known among the television audience through the TV series Dhatuputhri. She then did Goripalayam by Rasu Madhuravan, in which she portrayed the second lead. She was a student when she acted in the film. Swasika Vijay Profile And Career

Swasika Vijay was born on 19 April 1992, and She was a student when she acted in the film. Her third film Maithanam got positive reviews from both the critics and the audience. She played a village girl, who “values culture and tradition” in the film. She made her Malayalam debut with the Cinema Company and was the lead actress in Sajeevan Anthikkad’s Prabhuvinte Makkal. In the 2014 Tamil thriller Panduvam, she played the Psychiatrist, a modern character as opposed to her earlier roles in the Tamil films.

Swasika Vijay also worked as a television anchor too. She hosted a show on the Jeevan TV in 2014. She is currently doing the lead role in the television serial named Dhathuputhri on Mazhavil Manorama. She also appeared in some advertisements too. Her next TV serial, My Marumakan telecasted on Surya TV. She is currently playing a lead role in Seetha which is a sequel to the later. She had signed the serial Pranayini but later opted out. She is an active presence in the stage shows mainly as a dancer.
