Twitter Users Alert: Elon Musk tweeted that the follower count on Twitter might decrease as the team is working on blocking many spam/scam accounts. Earlier the new owner of twitter promised to get rid of bots which are been spamming. He also said that bots are also a big problem for the platform.

This has been done today, which is one day before the new verified system launch which is scheduled to be launched tomorrow (December 2). The new verified icon will have color-coded checkmarks, which will be shown as a grey tick for the government, a gold tick for companies, blue tick for individuals (celebrity or not), and all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before the check activates.
