Srikanth Kidambi Early Life and Career
Srikanth Kidambi was born on 7 February 1993 in Ravulapalem, Andhra Pradesh, India. Srikanth Kidambi family his father KVS Krishna who is a landlord and his mother Radha. His schooling and graduation details will be updated soon. He has a brother named K. Nandagopal who is also a badminton player as well. He started his career in the year 2011 from the Commonwealth Youth Games in Isle of Man in this match he won the Silver in mixed doubles and also won bronze in doubles, with that he is also an emerging winner of singles and doubles category at the All India Junior International Badminton Championship which is held in Pune. In the year 2012, he overcomes the Junior World Champion Zulfadli Zulkiffli of Malaysia and in the Maldives International Challenge, he claims the mens single titled. In 2013, he won Men’s single in Thailand Open Grand Prix Gold event and in the same year retains the champion and Olympian Parupalli Kashyap in the All India Senior National Championships in Delhi, which is his senior national title. Moreover, he is the part of Awadhe Warriors team and completed his Indian Badminton League, 2013.
Later he appeared in various matches in the upcoming years and won in most of the matches. In the year 2015, Srikanth Kidambi has become as a first Indian male to win gold at the 2015 Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold just by defeating Viktor Axelsen and in the same year, he won India Open Super Series title by defeating Viktor Axelsen in the finals. Then in the year 2018, he started his tour at the 2018 India Open as the second-seeded. In the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, he won the gold in the mixed team event, with that he won the silver in the singles event.
