Srikanth Kidambi Early Life and Career

Srikanth Kidambi was born on 7 February 1993 in Ravulapalem, Andhra Pradesh, India. Srikanth Kidambi family his father KVS Krishna who is a landlord and his mother Radha. He started his career in the year 2011 from the Commonwealth Youth Games in Isle of Man in this match he won the Silver in mixed doubles and also won bronze in doubles, with that he is also an emerging winner of singles and doubles category at the All India Junior International Badminton Championship which is held in Pune. In the year 2012, he overcomes the Junior World Champion Zulfadli Zulkiffli of Malaysia and in the Maldives International Challenge, he claims the mens single titled. In 2013, he won Men’s single in Thailand Open Grand Prix Gold event and in the same year retains the champion and Olympian Parupalli Kashyap in the All India Senior National Championships in Delhi, which is his senior national title. Moreover, he is the part of Awadhe Warriors team and completed his Indian Badminton League, 2013.

Later he appeared in various matches in the upcoming years and won in most of the matches. In the year 2015, Srikanth Kidambi has become as a first Indian male to win gold at the 2015 Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold just by defeating Viktor Axelsen and in the same year, he won India Open Super Series title by defeating Viktor Axelsen in the finals. Then in the year 2018, he started his tour at the 2018 India Open as the second-seeded. In the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, he won the gold in the mixed team event, with that he won the silver in the singles event.

Leon James was born on 1 December 1991 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His father Noel James worked in the film industry as a manager of Oscar Winning Music director A. R. Rahman. This makes Leon to became interested in music. He started learning piano at age of three and played in a college band called Zinx alongside Anirudh Ravichander. He started his career as a composer and has worked as a keyboardist for stage shows and film albums composed by Santhosh Narayanan, Anirudh Ravichander and Thaman. He has also a part of Project Yuj, a “neo-Carnatic funk” band alongside popular singers Aalap Raju, Prakash Hariharan and Jeoraj George. The team released an independent album in November 2014.

Raghava Lawrence spotted his work and offered a chance to compose music for his horror film Kanchan 2. The song, “Vaayaa En Veera” sung by Shakthisree Gopalan, won positive reviews. He then teamed up with singer Andrea Jeremiah to record an album song called “Ezhunthu Vaa” to promote female empowerment. Leon James also chose to introduce Harish Sivaramakrishnan from the Bangalore-based rock band Agam and London-based singer Inno Genga, for their first respective songs in the Tamil film industry.

Shaad Ali was born to Muzaffar Ali and Subhashini Ali née Sehgal in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He was raised in a culturally rich and socially evolved environment. He completed his schoolings in Welham Boys’ School and the Lawrence School, Sanawar. He started his career as an assistant director to Mani Ratnam, and assisted him on the film Dil Se.. (1998). He took his first step in direction with 2002’s Saathiya under Yash Raj Films and Madras Talkies. The film starred Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukerji in the lead role. The film was a remake of his mentor Mani Ratnam’s successful Tamil romance drama, Alaipayuthey. The film hits the box office and established Shaad Ali in the film industry. His latest movie Ok Jaanu released on 13 January 2017. Ok Jaanu is a remake of a Tamil romance drama O Kadhal Kanmani.
