Sri Lanka v England 2018: Ahead of the first match of England’s ODI series against Sri Lanka, Jos Butler has said that very happy being favorites but we are aware of the past tours which have been tricky. While addressing the media, he said “Very Happy being favorites. It shows that we have been doing good stuff and I like being favorites.” Further, he said, “We are aware of Sri Lanka’s spin qualities in these conditions and they have some experienced players in their squad.”

Despite showing strong Performances in the recent times, Captain of England Team, Eoin Morgan has insisted that England were far from a finished product with the World Cup 8-months down the line. Ahead of the first ODI, he said: “We still have a long way to go (while answering about 2019 World Cup). It has taken three and a half years to get to the place we are, but I think we are getting to the most important part of cricket what we have been planning towards.”
In recent years, Sri Lanka team haven’t had the best of times in the 50-over format. They were ousted in the first round of the recently concluded Asia Cup.
