Soundararaja is an Indian movie actor and Short film, Telefilm producer, who predominantly works in the Kollywood film industry. He made his acting debut with the Kollywood movie “Vettai,” directed by N. Lingusamy in the year 2012. He is now playing a lead role in the Saayavanam movie directed by Malayalam filmmaker Anil Babu. The film cast includes Devananda and Appukutty.

Three months after completing his graduation, he got a job as a project engineer in Invensys India Pvt Ltd. By seeing his perfromance, he was transferred to Singapore in 2005 and from there he shifted to a company in France named Technip France which is a US-based company. From France he movie to Qatar in 2007. In the year 2008, he returned back to India and started a production company named “Madurai Touring Talkies,” along with his childhood friend M. Manikandan, director of the movie Kaaka Muttai.

Soundararaja joined in Koothup-Pattarai acting drama school in 2010. Soundararaja and his friends Manikandan and Karthik Subbaraj, director of movie Jigarthanda have produced many short films under his banner namely Thuru, Raavanm, Petticase, Wind, Aram and more. While working in Koothu-P-Pattarai,  Soundararaja act as a background actor, particularly playing the role of the lead character’s friend. Soundararaja acted in various short films for the television show “Nalaya Iyakunar,” which was telecasted on Kalaignar TV. He also worked in many short films with his friends M. Manikandan and Karthik Subbaraj, and later they cast him in his first feature film. Then he went to the director Lingusamy‘s studio to audition for the movie Vettai and he was selected to play the role of Lingusamy’s friend film. Then he starred in S. R. Prabakaran‘s movie “Sundarapandian,” as a villain. In that movie, he acted with Sasikumar, Vijay Sethupathi and Lakshmi Menon. After the success of that movie, he starred in various movies like Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Jigarthanda, Dharma Durai, Enakku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidayathu, and more. In 2018, he worked in the movies like Kadaikutty Singam, Silukkuvarpatti Singam, Kallan and Aruvasandai.
