Shruthi Raj was born on 25 February 1979, in Kovil Patti. She made her acting debut in the Malayalam Film “Agrajan” alongside Sukumari, directed by Dennis Joseph and Produced by Visual Creations. She also starred with popular actors like Vijay, Dileep, Shivarajkumar and Kunchako Boban. She was praised for her performance in the film “Andaman” which was one of her Best Films of the year in 1998. She worked in some other movies like Jerry and Iyakkam.
