Shalini Ajith is an Indian Film actress born to Malayali Parents Babu and Alic on November 20, 1979. She finished her schoolings in Fatima Matric Higher Secondary School, Adarsh Vidyalaya, Chennai and Church Park Convent, Chennai. She loves to play badminton and has played in a few state-level tournaments. Shalini Ajith started his career at the age of three as a child artist in the Malayalam film “Ente Mamattikkuttiyammakku.”

She also acted in Kannada film as child artist along with legendary actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan in the movie “Ee Jeeva Ninagagi.” In 1990, she acted along with her sister, Shamili in the Telugu Film “Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari.” Then she went to act in many movies as a Child artist and credited as “Baby Shalini.” After the break of several years, she returned to the film industry by appearing in a movie “Aniyathi Pravu.” Later, she appeared in highly successful Malayalam and Tamil Films such as Kadhalukku Mariyadhai in 1997, Amarkalam in 1999, Niram in 1999, Kannukkul Nilavu in 2000, Alaipayuthey in 2000 and Piriyadha Varam Vendum in 2001. Shalini Ajith received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress for her acting in Alaipayuthey. During the shoot of Saran’s Amarkalam in 1999, she started to date his co-star, Ajith Kumar. Ajith Kumar proposed to Shalini in June 1999, and they got married on April 24, 2000, in Chennai. After their Marriage, Shalini Ajith quit acting and became a full-time housewife. The couple has two children named Anoushka and Aadvik.
