Shaashvi Bala is a VJ turned film actress from Colombo, Sri Lanka. In 2019, she debuted in the Tamil movie Ellam Mela Irukuravan Pathupan directed by U Kaviraj. Actor Aari played a lead role in this movie. She worked as a VJ at Vasantham TV. She also worked as a program presenter at President Media House, Carlton Sports Network [CSN], CCF TV Sri Lanka, Tamil FM – தமிழ் FM, MTV Channel PVT LTD (Shakthi TV) and Nethra TV/ Sri Lanka broadcasting corporation. She will be doing a lead role in Natty aka Nataraj’s untitled film.
