Selvaraghavan is an Indian Film director and a screenwriter who predominantly works in Tamil Film Industry. He made his entry as a screenwriter for his father’s directional debut Thulluvatho Illamai in the year 2002 and made his directional debut through the movie Kadhal Konden, which was a romantic thriller movie.
He tried numerous producers after graduating from college to support his scriptwriting, but he was unsuccessful. In the early 2000s, his family experienced financial difficulties due to his father’s unemployment, so they choose to invest their remaining money in a film titled Thulluvadho Ilamai, which Selvaraghavan had written. The film was released in 2002 and was an enormous hit, which helped them to repay their debts. His second movie 7G Rainbow Colony was also a Romantic drama movie which was also a successful one. Selvaraghavan’s first two movies were a hit but his third movie Puthupettai (2006) a gangster movie was one of the underrated movies during its release. He rose to prominence for the movie Aayirathil Oruvan which was an adventure film, starring Karthi, Reema Sen, and Andrea Jeremiah in the lead role.
Selvaraghavan brings reality to the screen. He is one of the best directors in the Tamil film industry. His movies are unique and his directional skills are much appreciated by the critics and the public as well. He made his acting debut in the film Beast (2022), which also starred Vijay. In the film Saani Kaayidham, he played a protagnist alongside Keerthy Suresh as his partner.
