Sam Bahadur is an upcoming historical drama helmed by filmmaker Meghna Gulzar who is well known for Raazi and Talvar movies. The film is based on the true events and life history of Sam Manekshaw. It is bankrolled by Ronnie Screwwvala under RSVP Movies production house. The film stars Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima in the lead roles. Ketan Sodha along with Shankar-Ehsaan-Lay composed the songs and background scores.

The first stage of the movie shooting process has been started. In 2021, RSVP Movies made its first announcement regarding the movie on the 107th birth anniversary of the late Sam Manekshaw. The trailer of the Sam Bahadur movie was released today (7 November 2023) at 5 p.m. by Chief of the Army Staff, Manoj Pande.

Release Date

On December 1, 2023, the film will screen in theaters.
