Ruhi Singh is an Indian actress, model, and former Miss India. Rushi Singh got into the modeling industry in the year 2011 and became famous. She took part in Femina Miss India East 2011, the preliminary for the Femina Miss India contest, and was crowned 1st Runner-up. She has also proven her talent in acting by working in documentaries and films. Ruhi did her acting debut with a documentary titled “The World Before Her “. She also appeared in music videos such as Do Chaar Din, Maangi Duaein, and De Ijaazat. In 2023, it was one of the participants in Netflix’s Social Currency reality show.
In 2011, she participated in Indian Princess 2011 and was chosen to represent India at the Miss Model Of The World 2011 contest held in China.
Ruhi Singh was one of the top 36 quarter-finalists in that contest. She entered into the top 10 of Femina Miss India in 2012.
She represented India at Miss United Nations in 2012 held in Miami in which she lost. But later in 2014, she was selected by Femina Miss India to represent India at the first edition of Miss Universal Peace and Humanity where she became the first-ever winner as Ruhi Singh Miss India.
After that, she got chances to act in documentaries and one such documentary was The World Before Her, which brought her fame and was selected one of the Top 25 Most Desirable Women in India (2014), by the Times of India.
In 2015, impressed by her documentary, director Madhur Bhandarkar invited her to act in his movie Calendar Girls as one of his five leading ladies.
