RRR’s Naatu Naatu Song Wins The Oscar Award 2023

Naatu Naatu song from RRR won the Oscar in the Best Orginal Song Category. The 95th Academy Awards Ceremony started in Los Angeles on 12 March at 5:00 PM. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone presented at this year’s Oscars 2023. Janelle Monae and Kate Hudson announced the composer MM Keeravaani with singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava who bagged the prestigious Academy Award. Notably, the song also won in the same category at the Golden Globes.

It is the first Indian song and the first Tollywood movie that to be nominated for an Oscar and Won. It overcame its nominees such as Applause (Tell it like a Woman), Hold My Hand (Top Gun Maverick), Lift Me Up (Black Pather Wakanda Forever), and This is a Life (Everything Everywhere All at Once). Music Director MM Keeravaani accepted the award with a Namaskaram.
