Roshni Nadar Malhotra Details

Roshni Nadar Malhotra was born in 1982 and grew up in Delhi. She is the only daughter of Shiv Nadar and Kiran Nadar. Shiv Nadar is an industrialist and philanthropist, who is the founder and chairman of the multinational I.T. company HCL Enterprises. Her mother, Kiran Nadar, is an Indian art collector and founder of Kiran Nadar Museum of Art. Roshni attended the Vasant Valley School and graduated from Northwestern University in Illinois with a degree in Communications (Radio/TV & Films). She also holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management in focus with Social Enterprise Management and Strategy. After graduation, she worked at Sky News UK and CNN America as a news producer. She joined her father’s company after her short career in broadcast journalism. In 2009, She was promoted to CEO of the HCL Corporation.

During her tenure as CEO, she conceived HCL Infosystems and HCL TalentCare in an effort to diversify the business. She had been serving as the trustee of her father’s Shiv Nadar Foundation before she became a CEO of a multinational company. She had also been linked in brand building across the HCL Group. In 2010, Roshni Nadar got married in 2010 to Shikhar Malhotra who is the Vice Chairman of HCL Healthcare and the couple blessed with two sons Armaan, born in 2013 and Jahaan, born (2017).
