Ricky Ponting, Rahul Dravid, Claire Taylor inducted into ICC’s Hall of Fame
On Sunday, Two-time World Cup-winning captain Ricky Ponting, former India captain Rahul Dravid and retired England women’s wicketkeeper Claire Taylor were inducted into the ICC’s Hall of Fame. Rahul Dravid is the fifth player from India to be inducted in the ICC’s Hall of Fame while Ricky Ponting is the 25th Australian. Claire Taylor is the seventh woman to join ICC’s Hall of Fame and the third female player from England.
After inducting into ICC’s Hall of Fame, Rahul Dravid said: “to find your name in a list of all-time greats across generations is something one only dreams of while setting out on a cricket career.”

Ricky Ponting who scored more than 13,000 runs in both tests and one-day internationals, said: “I loved every moment of my journey as a player and am I am very proud of the team and personal successes along the way.”
Claire Taylor said it was a great honour to be inducted in the International Cricket Council’s Hall of Fame alongside some of the greatest names from across the world and throughout the generations, players who I looked up to during my playing career and hold in great esteem.
