Regina Cassandra is an Indian Film actress born on December 13, 1990, in Chennai. She is one of the popular actress appearing in Tamil, Kannada and Telugu Films. She graduated with Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Women’s Christian Colege in Chennai. Alongside Adith Arun, she acted in a short film named “Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppudi” directed by Balaji Mohan. She made her debut in Kollywood in 2005 with the Movie “Kanda Naal Muthal” and Tollywood in 2012 with the Movie “Shiva Manasulo Shruti.” On the Same year, she got SIIMA award for Best Female Debut Actress.

At the age of 9, Regina Cassandra started her career as an anchor in a Kids Channel – “Splash.” At 16, she made her onscreen debut with the Tamil Movie Named “Kanda Naal Mudhal.” In that film, she portrayed the character Latha, a 21-year old pregnant sister for Laila. Then, she went to appear in a movie named “Azhagiya Asura” and failed to gain attention since the film was low-key release. So she took time to get out from movies and then went on to graduated in Psychology from Women’s Christian College. After one year, she decided to join films in 2012. Then she acted in a Kannada film named “Suryakaanti” directed by K.M Chaitanya. In the same year, she appeared in a Telugu Comedy Film named “Shiva Manasulo Shruti” (remake of Tamil movie – Shiva Manasula Sakthi). In the same year, she acted in a Telugu Romantic Comedy Movie – “Routine Love Story,” along with Sundeep Kishnan. Since then, she went to appear in several Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films and now, she is one of the leading actress working in three film industries.
