Rakesh Bapat is an Indian actor and model who works predominantly in Hindi film and television industry. He made his on-screen debut in Anubhav Sinha’s Tum Bin in the year 2001. He made his television debut in the Zee serial, Saat Phere, with him gaining instant recognition on the small screen within a short span of time. he has also done top brand ads for Colgate, Wrigley’s chewing gum, SSI-Education and Lux among others. Raqesh Vashisth Details

Raqesh Vashisth was born on 1 September 1978 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. His father is a retired Major in the Indian Army and his mother retired as an English teacher at Dr Kalmadi Shamarao High School in Pune. He did his pre-school from Amravati. Raqesh Vashisth brother in law Akshay Dogra is a television actor. Sheetal Bapat is Raqesh Vashisth sister. Raqesh started his career as a model and participated in the Grasim Mr India contest and stood up the first runner-up. He was also given the title Mr Continental. He has appeared in several TV Commercials for brands like Colgate and Wrigley’s Gum. He started his Bollywood journey with the movie Tum Bin in the year 2001 which was a hit in the Box Office. He is married to his co-star Riddhi Dogra on 29 May 2011.
